How do you wash duck feathered pillows and comforters with out having a funny smell at the end???
Last time I tried to wash one of my pillows and it smelt wierd after a while. I put it on cold wash, and tumble dry.
It is important when washing down to DRY them very, very well, and for a looooooooooong time.
I have used tennis balls in the dryer to help the comforters and pillows feathers to not clump.

I would also use a nice smelling laundry detergent, and I like bounce dryer sheets, and I also like to use Lavender Dryer sheets. www.traderjoes.com they have these lavendar bags you put in the dryer.
**Just dry, dry and dry them some more on low tumble.
It takes a while.
